After a bit of navel gazing, Darren discusses how to debate skeptical topics and Elan hosts a game of Science Fact or Science Fiction. The show ends with a couple voices from the past.

With Elan away to celebrate his recent marriage, the rest of the crew soldiers on with a great new episode!   Darren follows up on a promise to examine unreported crime, Adam takes on a listener request to look into the benefits and risks of declawing cats and Pat explores if there is any truth to the rhyme about a red sky predicting the weather.

The gang does some shuffling for Episode 256 of The Reality Check as Elan joins Adam and Darren to record in Ottawa while Pat sits lonely in his lofty Toronto studio. The show starts off with Elan discussing the latest diet fad, going gluten-free. Adam then leads a game of Science Fact or Science Fiction™ about weddings. Darren closes things off by looking into whether Toronto is the most dangerous city in Canada.
